ByPalma is the only conference of its kind solely focusing on the by-products of palm plantation around the globe and their current and potential applications. This includes all Palmae family, such as Date palms, Coconut palms, Oil palms, Doum palms, sugar palm…etc.

The 1st round of ByPalma was in December 2018 in Aswan, Egypt and it was a great success. With more than 250 attendees, from 94 research institutions, companies , NGOs and international organization, representing more than 30 countries. The technical program Included 7 plenary sessions, 6 discussion panels, 5 keynote talks, and poster session. In addition to other concurrent events such as, Palm By-Products Exhibition, Palm By-Products Photo Gallery, and the innovation contest.
